Internations superheros of hardcore?,

This review is from: Tip of the Iceberg / Takin It Ova (Audio CD)
The first disc off the album is great, one of my favorite NFG records yet. But the second disc, I hate to say it, but it stinks. Its basically the guys from NFG making fun of hardcore kids, while they do have it coming to them, I would like to see New Found Glory stick to their guns, and be the pop punk band everyone has loved over the past decade.

NFG doing it right,

This is not for the fan who likes their original pop sound, but for the fan who understands where they came from and where their sound started with. Come on guys, they were on Eulogy.
Anyone who is a fan or understands anything about where the sound they love comes from needs to know this album makes complete sense and is perfect in every way possible. NFG's early beginnings started off with touring with Hardcore bands, and with Chad's past history with Shai Hulud and actively working in the hxc scene (producing the newest H20 Album) this just comes natural. They cover Lifetime, and lets face it, without lifetime there would be no Saves the day or NFG. Gorilla biscuits, lifetime, and shelter are just a few bands who helped pioneer the music you love today.

WOW... all i can say is wow.
They (ISHC) pull off hardcore like no tomorrow OMFG... and they do it the way it should be done. I sure hope this is the beginning of something new cause lets face it... their old style has kind of gotten old anyways. I am very happy that they are turning away from the mainstream and making it all about the music again. Both Cd's are amazing, totally worth the money and don't listen to the bad reviews unless you expect the same exact cd again... This is them experimenting with new grounds with both bands. The first cd (NFG) is fast punk style while the second cd (ISHC) is straight up hardcore... i mean come on Madball's got their back. Music has matured since their earlier days and they have always had ties with the HXC scene... I guess all you mainstream NFG fans never saw that.
