Purchased this rear gate with my cart, only to find that a) you need two people (at least) to install the gate on the cart, and b) if you *do* somehow manage to get it installed (which I never did), you certainly won't want to remove it any time soon, thus completely defeating the "folding" aspect of the cart. I kept the cart (which I like precisely *because* it folds up so well), but returned the gate for a refund. Tipke really needs to invest some R&D monies into engineering a full rear gate that actually *works* with this cart (I have some ideas, if they're interested).

I am writing this review after 4 years of owning this cart.
I use this cart for marine & camping purposes:

1. To haul fishing gear from my campsite to my boat.
2. To haul water jugs to my RV
3. To haul wood to my campsite

I have found this cart extremely handy and durable. The cart is easy to push while loaded and not difficult to fold and unfold (once you get the hang of it).
I usually transport it inside my boat or on top of my camper. It is very light for its size and folds to an easily transported package. I also purchased the tailgate.

One warning: since it is made of aluminum, do not throw wood or anything heavy into the cart as it can easily be dented. Place the items into the cart gently! Since it is made of aluminum, the cart is light, there is no rust, and the dents can easily be pushed back out.

This cart is a bit spendy but if I had the choice, I would buy this product again.

Ordered it for using at our Marina to haul cooler's,bags and other stuff. A little hard to put in and then have to take out to fold but well worth the money. I would recommend this for others.

This cart did just what it was purchased for.
It is just wide enough to hold a cooler and there was ample room to carry chairs and other items for the Jazz Festival in Saratoga. Two couples with two carts carried in two coolers, a screen tent, 5 chairs and food and other items needed for a day on the lawn. The large wheels traveled over all terrain and rolled very freely. The cart folded small enough to fit in the car. Heads turned. The ULTIMATE Picnic Cart!!

Rear gate was easy to install (and remove) contrary to other reports. We have no problem using the rear gate. Perfect!

excellent cart needed to fill the tires with air but the thing is sturdy and reliable used it for the last month several times dont be afraid to buy this as is is very durable
