The Tipperary Sportage multi-discipline helmet was specifically designed to meet all the needs of the equestrian rider. Its fully vented shell and liner provides an overall cooler fit. The extended rear shell design was developed to provide a better lock of the helmet on the head, reducing roll off during a rough ride. Extended padding around the exterior edge of the shell for increased protection. Fully adjustable 4-point harness with a quick release buckle also ensures a perfect and secure fit. Adjustable soft inner cushion liner pads work with the shell design to provide a better overall comfortable fit. Color: Carbon gray. Sizing: Helmet/Head circumference/Hat size: X-Small/18.5-19.5in/5 3/4-6 1/8. Small/19.5-21in/6 1/8-6 5/8. Medium/21-22in/6 5/8-6 7/8. Large/22-23.5in/7-7 1/2. Measure 1'' above the eye brow. ASTM/SEI certified and approved.

I have tried several types of helmets, by far this is the best fitting, most comfortable helmet I have ever had. The price is excellent as well for the quality of their product. This helmet provides excellent coverage for the occipital area of the skull where I have found other helmets lacking. It also provides excellent ventilation. It is also nice they come in sizes small enough to fit a child.

I have a hard to fit head, I guess, because I have had a really difficult time finding something that fits well since Lexington went out of business. My Tipperary is very comfortable and I forget it's there when I'm wearing it! The only thing that I have any problem with is that the chin strap is not ideal, I doesn't sit quite where I would like it to. It is easy to adjust the size of it and I love the way it looks. Highly recommend it!

I've had many helmets in the past and my Tipperary surpasses them all. It is supremely comfortable. It has many vents in it so you don't boil on hot summer days but it is very sturdy and I feel very safe in it. This is an awesome helmet at an awesome price.
