Jim is an up and coming altoist with a fresh, crisp technique. As technically gifted as he is, he hasn't forgotten the melody line. "Let's Be Frank" is an example of this, crisp, intelligent improvising and solid swinging.
Snidero is a talented composer and arranger as this CD attests to. If you are part of a big band organization, as I am, there are some big band arrangements by Jim that you should look into. "Tippin'" is a great addition to your library. Bob Rutkas
