5.0 out of 5 stars Crucial reading for anyone trying to change their workplace, March 24, 2005
This review is from: Tipping Point Leadership (HBR OnPoint Enhanced Edition) (Digital)
I think anyone who is serious about changing/improving their workplace/business will learn something from Harvard Business Review articles. The authors do an excellent job of using a case-study to show how the 'tipping point' theories (malcolm gladwell) can be used by leaders.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to make change with limited resources, February 16, 2009
This review is from: Tipping Point Leadership (HBR OnPoint Enhanced Edition) (Digital)
This is a really interesting article. It defies the conventional wisdom that you need to throw resources at something to make a difference.Well worth the read.

The reason the crime fell in New York City was only partially due to better policing. Otherwise why did crime also fall in many other places without "Tipping Point Leadership"?

Crime fell because of the increase in abortion. For more information read "Freakonomics."

The problem with tipping point analysis is that it is rarely clear until after the action.
