Broke while shooting!!!,

This review is from: Tippmann A5 Adjustable Car Stock (Misc.)
I thought this was a good deal when i first bought it but after a couple hours of shooting i went to shoot at my brother and the stock snapped and went flying across the room.. luckily i was holding the gun away from my body or it could have hurt me pretty bad. I don't think this stock is very safe and i would recommend the BT designs combat stock over this one.

I used this stock one time and after an hour of use it snapped where it connects to the gun. I would spend a little extra money to buy a more durable stock.

its barley worth the 15 bucks i paid. the gun wouldn't fire after i installed it because the hole where the pin and spring that holds the firing mechanism forward is drilled too deep. Easy fix though i just took a finishing nail the same diameter as the stock pin and cut the tip off so that it was 1/4" longer than the original pin then i De-burred it an the gun worked again. Then where the tube that butt of the stock slides on connects to the plug that is inserted into the gun the tube is threaded and has a machine screw that attaches the stock to the plug and there's a hand tighten type nut that stabilizes the stock and helps it not wobble so much. well the machine screw is put to close to the end of the tube so that the hand tightened nut can thread all the way off of the tube and just free spin and do no good. So i made a spacer by filing out the hole in a washer till it fit over the plug and then i ground it down so it didn't stick out to far then i filed the area on the tube where the machine screw goes so that the tube cant slip back then the nut is tightened. after i put it back together it feels a lot sturdier and doesn't look to bad. i can get pictures of what i did if you need them just leave a comment asking for them and ill send them to you. you can probably find a washer that would work without modification and if i had a lathe i could have made something even better but i didn't feel like buying a washer when i had one that almost fit in the garage and it didn't take that much time or "Finngenuity" to make. i also want to say that the service from Paintball Online was great and i don't hold this Chinese made stock against them.
