Tippmann 98 Custom Double Trigger & Guard

The double trigger I purchased for my tippmann 98 custom did not allow the safety to be turned on and off. There was a simple fix however. I shaved a bit of the plastic off the trigger and it works fine.

I got this product withing 3 days, great packaging and everything but the darn thing just didn't work. The install was easy but when I cocked the gun to test fire it the trigger didn't engage the hammer to to fire no matter what I did , so I had to carefully take it apart so all the torque from the springs doesn't make all the internals go flying everywhere. After I took it apart I could see that the stock trigger spring could'nt set the trigger properly when cocked. Very dissappointed indeed.

First off this is a good quality part by tippmann. For a long time i have been using just the standard single trigger that came on the marker along with the responce trigger kit. Recently i put the double trigger on and i like it. The only problem is now you have more distance to pull the trigger in order to fire the marker. However, if you have a responce trigger installed this isnt a problem because i am still clocking over 18 balls per second on the cronograph. Also for that little extra distance you need to pull the trigger it is significantly smoother and required alot less force to pull it.

i bought this item and waited 3 days just to get a pathetic plastic trigger THAT DID NOT WORK. i recomen that you trash the idea of buying a double trigger or at least dont buy one from this company

This is a perfect double trigger for my tippmann 98. You have to shave a little off because it gets in the way of the saftey, but that took me 30 seconds to do. One of the best cheap upgrades for the gun. Dont pay more for a double trigger because this one is perfect 5 out of 5

the trigger was an easy install, but there was one little hitch

for me, i found that the double trigger piece was in the way of the safety mechanism just a little bit. i shaved 1/16 of plastic off the inner item where it was blocking the safety knob, and it worked perfectly.

and excellent item. highly recommended.
