I like this gun, just wanted to say that before I started. The gun ABSOLUTELY needs to be taken apart and all internal parts oiled BEFORE use. It does come with some good lubricant, the gun itself is fairly easy to take apart, just a matter of removing the screws with the alan wrench. Putting it back together is somewhat more tricky. There are a few tiny pieces that if you loose them this gun will NOT work so be careful and do this at home. The spring in the gun is very strong which makes putting this together a bit tricky, reading the manual helps a bit. As far as the actual use, this gun fired at a higher FPS right out of the box then my main weapon, 375 FPS to be exact. It does fire pretty quickly, as fast as you can pull the trigger, and I haven't had any issue with it chopping balls. Usually takes about 2 1/2 clips to use up a CO2 Cartridge. Can't review the holster because I didn't use the one that came with it.
**ADT'L NOTES**
The last time I went out paintballing I had the opportunity to play around with the Tiberius Semi-Auto Pistol. Not a bad gun but has 3 draw backs in my opinion: 1. Most of the weight is in the clip which makes it feel a bit weird, 2. CO2 is in clip so when you change clips you waste a little bit of the CO2 & 3. The trigger has to be pulled hard to fire rather then the quick trigger pull of the TPX.

I received my Tippman TPX very quickly - and had the added bonus of two cartridges more than advertised (pack of 12 instead of 10). The machine functions perfectly - albeit shoots a little high from point blank out to 30 feet, probably hits zero around 60 feet. But that's OK - as a pepper-ball & rubber ball shooter, it makes it easy to hit a torso under all conditions. There are only two machines in the world that allow you to pierce the CO2 cartridge as you fire - this is one of them - always ready in stand-by. A single CO2 cartridge at room temperature can put three clips of 7 shots down range before a noticeable drop in pressure (more than enough for the two mags that come with the kit). I recommend it.

Unnecessarily large and plastic. The magazine is realistic enough for those who like the retro simulation. It has a barrel velocity adjusting screw which makes it flexible. It comes with an inexpensive barrel squeegee to cleanup after ruptured paint balls, Allen wrenches, cheap holster, and co2 cartridges are useful, if inelegant. The product would be much improved if it came with a laser sight installed. This could be inexpensively accomplished, but attention to detail isn't its strong suit. The trigger safety feels cheap. It came with a barrel plug but no sock. Suppliers for expensive pepper balls are few and far between in the U.S. No suppliers for 'blast balls' could be found.

On the upside, this unit may well provide you, temporarily with the greatest asset to personal safety: distance. It won't allow you to reenact the 300 Spartans at the battle of Thermopolae, but it may provide you a route of escape. Care should be used not to shoot anyone in the face with it to avoid permanent blindness/death. This is not a toy and its recommended nobody under 18 should be allowed to carry one without adult supervision. Its bulk makes it less useful than it might have been as a personal defense/safety tool.
