The standard tippmann A-5 is big and bulky and is hard to see around when shooting and usually the biggest thing that gets shot at other than your head. The low profile hopper is great because it eliminates both of those problems it's rectangular in shape and sits way lower to the gun unblocking your iron sights. it also holds the same amount as the stock hopper maybe even a couple more. this hopper is great if your looking to be more efficient on the battle feild and if you want your gun to look good

This came with my A5. In comparison to a standard gravity hopper, this thing is awesome!! Your marker actually feels like a gun without a bulky plastic thing on top. Very durable and rugged. The mouth is wide and the lid stays on securely. The low profile greatly reduces exposure during play. I love it!!

Im going all milsim so when I saw this bad boy i couldnt resist. I got the tippman cyclone feeder so i could use this, i didnt kno the cyclone feeder came with a hopper from tippman but comparing this hopper to the tippman one...this one looks alot more sexy. Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because the lid doesnt snap open, just kind of floats open but its no big deal. I dont think this is an actual Tippman hopper but still its really a good deal.

For those in the know, the cyclone feeder and standard cyclone hopper are paint magnets out on the field. This hopper significantly reduces your target profile and seems to take less hits during a game. I've even had balls glance off the sides that would have busted on that giant circular standard hopper. Great buy.

I just started paint balling and I love the of the hopper but it doesn't fit my Tippmann Alpha Black Tactical Edition what do I need to make it fit?

The one I received from DoroSports was NOT a GTA, it was RAP-4. At first I was a little upset, the whole get what you pay for thing. Read a response somewhere from DoroSports and they stated they were having issues with the GTA's being weak. Upon receipt, I looked this one over and it did seem very sturdy, even more so than the one that came originally with my A5. Looks great on my A5 with the Flatline and Collapsible Stock. Gave it 4 stars because it says GTA, but it isn't. But, I'm not disappointed with it.

Its very helpfull if you have an A-5 and you don't want to invest in a Qloader. shipping is really expensive.

While maintaining the same ammo capacity of the standard Tippmann A-5 Cyclone hopper, the low-profile hopper, which is standard on the Tippmann X7, significantly reduces the front profile of your gun, and the steep angles let some shots ricochet off without breaking. I swapped my A-5's hopper out and have never looked back. The only downside is that unless you are COMPLETELY empty a standard 140-ball pod will end up spilling over when you reload it unless you hold it at a steep downward angle, which is just impossible if you are holed up on your belly in a bunker. The old 100-ball pods are just right to solve this problem, however.

This particular paintball hopper does not fit the Project Salvo paintball marker. Amazon recommends this hopper when you purchase the Project Salvo marker, however, the hopper will not fit.
