First of all the barrel itself sucks for range and accuracy. The allen screws on the shroud do not hold. It loosens up, moves around and gets out of alignment. The one I ordered came with a fake muzzle break which also would not stay tight and kept falling off. The picture on the web page looks like it has a real muzzle break on the end of the barrel. Maybe it does now. All I can tell you is the one I received did not. Of all the paintball products I have ordered through Amazon, the only ones I have had problems with were from "Ultimate Paintball". If I were you, I would look elsewhere.

I was a little worried about ordering this due to the fact I noticed it was a twist on barrel with shroud attached.

I couldn't justify the price of it being at $140 so I got it here at $70 which is a decent price for a barrel, m4 sight, and shroud.

The product comes fully assembled so you can attach it directly to your x7 or a5 (I have the x7). However after tightened, the shroud and sight do not sit straight which of course I expected.

You WILL NEED TO REFIT THEM YOURSELF with allen wrenches or torques tips, I will update this piece when I figure out what sizes those are.

Other than that it is fully metal, and it looks great, I haven't test fired it to see accuracy but at least you can take the shroud off and put it on another barrel.

One of the best paintball buys I've ever made and for a good price too. Great barrel, great look and it's a large hunk of metal. Will make your marker look and feel real!

the shroud and sight and everything is awsome. its the barrel that sucks when i shot my balls go everywhere and for that reason im going to get a new barrel but put this shroud setup on it.

When I attached the barrel to my X7 Phenom the sight and rails didn't line up with the marker, by about 135 degrees.

I figured, no problem, I'll detach the rails and sight and adjust them myself. A little work on my part doesn't bother me. Unfortunately the bolts that hold the rails and sight to the barrel were stripped.

Useless.

Update: I was able to cut the front sight off with liberal use of some power tools without damaging the barrel and with some work I got the hand guard to line up with the rest of my marker.

Upgraded the review to a ***. The barrel looks better without the front sight, I run with a reflex sight anyway, and it shoots pretty accurate at about 75 feet.

Still wouldn't recommend this barrel though, I bought this for the hand guard and of course as soon as I got it I found a decent RIS hand guard selling on its own. Remember, if you look hard enough, you'll find what you need.

I am still waiting on this product, and still waiting to hear from this vendor as to the status of this order. I have tried in vain to get some information as to where my order is after almost a month and a half...
