This review is from: 100 Tips For Bass Guitar You Should Have Been Told (Book & CD) (Paperback)
This book is more about the essential rudiments of learning music, rather than bass guitar. All aspects of playing are covered; I don't think that Stuart Clayton has left anything out. It's a great book to have around and the author is an excellent teacher.
However, if one should really want to learn how to play today's electric bass (slappin' and poppin') then I suggest that you purchase his "Ultimate Slap Bass" book, which in my opinion surpasses all of the others out there on the market, including "Slap it" which I studied all summer just before. |
