4.0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful, But..., March 6, 2000
This review is from: 300 Tips for Making Life with Multiple Sclerosis Easier (Paperback)
This is a very helpful book, however, it should probably be read primarily by those with progressive or those in the later stages of MS. I will say though that this book is very thoughtfully written with the feelings of the reader in mind. Mrs. Schwarz writes as if she is talking to you directly, kind of like she is in the room with you. I myself have been recently diagnosed with MS, but I am not yet so far gone that this particular book is necessary. But if I do get worse I will be glad I have it :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars 300 Tips for Making Life with Multiple Sclerosis Easier, December 19, 2011

This review is from: 300 Tips for Making Life with Multiple Sclerosis Easier (Paperback)
The book arrived in a timely manner, and I couldn't be more pleased! I lead a multiple sclerosis support group for older adults, and am doing our next meeting on secondary and primary progressive
MS. I've had MS since 1972, but have found very little information to offer the group as far as information on the progressive types of this disease.

The author, Shelly Peterman Schwartz, also has MS, and has offered numerous tips on the subject.
They have been most helpful! Thanks for you insight, Shelly!

This book is probably a good read for something newly diagnosed with MS. I was diagnosed 9 years ago and have learned a lot of these "tips" on my own. I'm glad I bought it "used".
