Rico's heart is in this CD and you can hear it beating in every song. It's ben a long time coming, but well worth the wait.He shows us his stuff on this CD, and steps up in the spotlight where he belongs.Very diverse styles and all well done. Guitar solo's that will blow you away, strong, sexy vocals and so much soul. Title track "Tired of Being Alone" really rocks out as well as "Bad Attitude" and "Giving Me the Blues". And what a totally cool soul version of "What if God Were One of Us". "The Other One" is really sexy and has a great harmonica solo by "Sugar Blue". "Rockin Chair" is really sexy too. Rico McFarland can very well be the next B.B.King of the future. This CD is just the beginning of a whole new Blues Generation.

Heard about this record from Michael Bourne a local DJ from WBGO in New Jersey who raved about Rico McFarland's "Tired Of Being Alone". He was absolutely right...........this CD kicks from start to finish. Smokin'blues with an absolute killing horn section. Think Tower Of Power/EWF horns. WOW!!!!
