Holiday Cooking Everyday with Mary!,

I am a huge fan of Mary Engelbreit, and have a love for innovative, fun cookbooks. This book was a perfect combination of fun food and colorful, Engelbreit illustrations.
The recipes in the book are divided into 5 categories. They include: Appetizers, Soups & Salads, Main Courses, Vegetables and Side Dishes, and Desserts and Beverages. Included for most recipes is a beautiful, full page, color photograph along with a serving dish idea. The only 2 things missing in this addition are a spiral binding (although the book lays flatter than most hardcover cookbooks), and nutrient information for each recipe. Some of my family's favorites include: Walnut & Port Cheddar Spread, Rosy Applesauce with Crispy Latkes, Tomato & Rice Shrimp Bisque, Traditional Holiday Seafood Salad, Brine Roasted Turkey, Mediterranean Filet Mignon, Rosemary-Rubbed Roasted Ham, Ginger-Sautéed Baby Carrots, Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes, and Sugar-Dusted Sweet Apple Fritters. Cookbook friendly,

Excellent recipes and easy to handle. I gave to my daughter who is just starting out.
