Believe me, you wont find a better deal on the whole internet. I Bought this watch for 177 bucks and i couldnt be more happy. This watch looks very classic and elegant and can be used with your daily dress or with a casual outfit. What else can i say?... you get a genuine swiss TISSOT automatic watch for 177 bucks. If you are lacking a timepiece like this one in your watch stock this is your best chance to get it. Believe me, you wont be disappointed.

Class,
After buying numerious automatic, I was looking for something not as heavy as your usual automatic watch. If your looking for something light, reliable, and the name to back it up, the PR50 automatic is just the watch for you. Completely Classic Tissot Style

I received this watch 5 years ago as a birthday gift. I like the classical design of this watch and initially i liked the fact that it is a automatic watch and fairly lightweight and slim at that. I found that after a few month of operation the movement went slower and slower. After 2 years I lost a couple of minutes every day which is just unacceptable for a timepiece. I sent it to Tissot and the repair cost me about 130$. I did have it repaired mostly because the watch had emotional value. Now two years later the watch starts to go slow again.I agree that the PR50 is cheap for the apparent build quality but the movement does not seem to live up to the quality I expect from a Swiss watch. I have another Tissot watch since the early 90's with a quartz movement (as well as other mechanical watches from other brands) that I could wholeheartedly recommend, just not this model.

Value for money -- didn't work for me though.,

Reasons why I bought it:a> Stainless steel band, white dial -- looks unassumingly sophisticated b> Right size -- neither too small, nor too big c> Swiss automatic below $200 d> Good enough brand name However, it didn't work for me. Right from the beginning it'd lose 2 or 3 minutes each day. I monitored it for two weeks, but it just wouldn't improve. Finally I had to take the unfortunate decision to return it. Return was quick and painless. I would still like to think that the problem was not reflective of the model. I believe the specific piece I received had some calibration issues. I'd buy it again if I got it at the right price.

This is my first Tissot watch so I maybe biased. I don't remember how I stumble on the brand. I think I did an internet search on affordable automatics and this caught my eye because of the sapphire crystal and an automatic under $200 I chose this. It was a good choice. It looks a lot more expensive than it really is and it is very comfortable to wear.Because of the quality of this watch I am now a Tissot fan.

awesome, nice look, and accurate. The only drawback is that it is easy to stop. Approximately 8 hours without wearing. It stops working. However, I like to wear all the time since I got it.

I own a similar Tissot which has the perpetual movement mechanism so you don't have to change out the battery ever. I got it as a gift in 2000 and it still works great. I had to get the movement changed out under warranty a few times but the last time was 5 years ago. I'll probably wear it until it dies on me and then just get a new one at that time. I love mine.

The PR50's are Tissot's entry line, so perhaps you don't expect much, but you would be wrong. The line has durable stainless steel cases, tough sapphire crystals and jeweled low friction movements, even if the bridges in the movement are plastic. The weak link is the bracelet since it only has one clasp. I've had mine for over 6 years, and it's finally due for a cleaning which I'll have Swatch do here in Beijing. In the six years I've had the watch it's been trouble free. My son liked it so much he got A quartz version of it and my wife has a gold plated ladies quartz version. This is a good all around every day time piece, and certainly a value for an Swiss automatic watch.

I think this is a good deal. It is automatic and has an scratch-resistant-sapphire window but relatively low price.
