Very Aesthetic and very durable. Has taken many hard hits and has not shown a dent or scratch (have had it more than a year). This includes hits on the glass face itself. Fortunately the fact that the face is made of Saphire crystal has proven a real blessing. Movement is excellent. Watchband excellent and very durable also. Only slight weakness is the strange and not very practical clasp for the watchband but once you get used to this it is not a problem.

The Tissot PRS516 Retrograde is a pretty good watch for the money. I paid $277 on shopathometv. The watch keeps excellent time and the 40mm case fit perfect on my 8 inch wrist. The white hour/minute hands and the yellow sub-dials stand out clearly against the black face. The chronograph and date functions are very easy to learn and use.

The only problem is with the leather strap. It's 20mm, dual-deployment, black with yellow contrast stiching. The padding is the problem. The padding is substantial from the lugs to about 1-1/2 inches. Then, there is almost no padding. This gives the strap an awkward feeling. The clasp is also quite cheaply made. Luckily, I had a spare Hadley Roma alligator strap from a previous watch and that makes the watch perfect.

I say get the watch and replace the band. You don't need an alligator strap. Hadley Roma sells a very nice black, calfskin leather strap with yellow contrast stitching for less than $50.

Love the watch and its looks. Keeps accurate time and is very attractive. The band however beside being disappointing in the color (not really yellow but beige). Mine has worn out in one year near the end of the metal clasp and I had to glue it back. No replacement is available for less than $95.00 from a 3rd party and the Tissot site does not offer one.

Great watch. No doubts on specs and quality. However the item depicted has bright yellow circles on the strap, which is what i wanted. The item that was shipped to me has beige circles on the strap which is another product altogether. I would caution would be purchasers to inquire with Amazon.com first before making the purchase.

I really like this watch and was impressed even more when I received it. The only drawback, as other reviewers have stated, is the clasp. It's a real pain, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up breaking the clasp while trying to get the watch on and adjusted. Other than the clasp, it's a great watch. They do have the same watch but with a metal band, which has a better clasp. I just happen to like the looks of the black band with the yellow stitching a little better.

Great product and price. Exactly the model with all the options I was seeking. Gave it as a present.

since the first time that I received the watch, This watch have has quality problems, this watch always get stop at seven. for this reason in each moment I have that move the hour. I dont claim before because I reside in other country, but today I order other watch for amazon and I hope that this watch is OK, because for me return the orders is very dificult and expensive

I really like this watch. I have always been a big fan of Tissot. This is my first Tissot. I am planning onto have a nice watch collection in the future so this is a great start.
great price for a great watch. I really like the cool design. It looks really good when you wear them. I am still getting used to the buckle -clasp feature. Overall great features I like the motorsport theme on the watch especially the checkered flags.
I also like the feel and look of the leather strap. Its got a dark blue color tone to it which accentuates the look of the watch.
