A very nice watch for the price, July 17, 2009

My wife bought me this watch for our 10th wedding anniversary. I had pretty much picked it out in advance, but it was still a nice gift. I wanted something a little dressy with a different shape than all my other watches (which are round). Plus, I do like Swiss movement (snob). After about a month of wearing this watch I'm very pleased with the style and quality. The watch face is rather THICK so it sticks out a bit from my wrist, but so far I haven't snagged anything. Still, if you like a slim profile watch this is not the one for you. There must be some little Swiss people inside the darn thing!
I'd also note that the local Tissot retailers where we live carried a very poor (and overpriced) selection of Tissot watches. None of them had the Quadrato model. Oh well, their loss.
