I bought this watch in 2000 for $199.00 through a discount website and have been absolutely thrilled with it. Tissot is the mid-range line of the Swatch group (Swatch Watch is low end, Omega is high end). This watch has all of the quality and style of an Omega but costs 1/5 to 1/10 as much.

With features such as a sapphire crystal, fully gasketted buttons (that can be pressed underwater without flooding the watch), a rock solid rotating bezel etc. it feels like a watch worth many times the money. The ONLY tiny complaint I can possibly make is that Tissot skimped on finishing the date window on this watch: it's in an odd place and isn't set off in any way.

Otherwise, this time piece is absolutely perfect.

I received this watch as a gift several years ago. It's always with me during special occasions.

Tissot's PRS200 has a very classy, elegant look. The black face goes well with anything, and the metal finish is beautifully polished. (The only downside to this is that fingerprints will show up easily.)

This watch has just the right amount of weight. Heavy enough to feel substantial and durable, yet light enough to not be cumbersome. The band itself fits comfortably on my wrist, and the clasp is secure.

The excellent water-proof features have already been mentioned by others. While you're probably not going to be snorkeling wearing this watch, if you unexpectedly end up in a swimming pool ;) there'll be no worries.

Combine all this with Tissot's Swiss-made crafting, scratch-resistant crystal, and a very reasonable price tag - and you've got a real winner.

Terrific watch , good looking ,truly water resistant and keeps good but not perfect time. Has the look and feel of a more expensive watch. BE CAREFUL because Tissot doesnt warranty watches sold on the net.

Love the watch, it looks great, but ultimately I've had the below problems with it
-No instruction manual included from Amazon, included a brochure in place of it and Amazon told me to download manual off the internet
-Chrono's dont work properly
-Date function loses days randomly
-After 2 months use cannot wind date onto correct date.

I've had problems with Amazon with the warranty. Fortunately they are now prepared to honour the warranty.

I am going to get the watch replaced by them because it is a very nice looking watch.

I've had this watch for about 3 years now. For the price you will not find a better watch. Unfortunately I am not very gentle with my belongings but this watch has taken everything in stride. The crystal has been though hell and back and there are still no scratches. I have only had to change the battery once since I have owned it. Complete strangers have commented on how great it looks. I am extremely pleased with this watch. I'm always on the lookout for new watches and I still haven't found anything near the quality of this watch for the price.

WOW!!! That is all I can say... WOW!!! This is my 1st Tissot but will not be the last. The weight and size of the watch are fantastic, the look is perfect. I own a Tag Formula 1 that I have worn for 2 years and paid 2x as much for but it will have to sit in the box for a while. I have a new baby.

I received this watch and it surprised me by the high quality of constrution materials.
In fact, it looks more expensive watch.
Swiss Quality say everything.

Its a very nice looking watch as seen in the pictures and looks elegant and shiny.
Friends commented it looked very nice and can easily pass off as a more expensive watch than it should be.
However, its a battery operated watch and so, it has its drawbacks.
A correct watch to make an impression. Have not had problems with it thus far, however, not sure abt that if i should have
to changed battery or whatsoever in the future.

I've owned the watch for over three years now, and have loved it for the majority of the time. The crown is very fragile and I've had mine break twice. The jeweler that I had gotten the watch from fixed it at no charge, but still, it was frustrating.

As far as the quality goes, the watch is very well made and has a good weight to it. The sapphire crystal is fantastic, I've worn the watch as a "daily beater" for a long time and whether it's working in the shop or at a charity gala event, it's been there looking good, no scratches (on the crystal anyways) I've beaten up the stainless pretty good, but luckily it polishes out without much effort.

The water-resistance is excellent. I wore the watch on a wreck dive to 125ft and had no problems with the functionality, as long as the crown is screwed down, it's good to go!

All in all, for the price, you can't beat the quality. It's not a TAG or Omega, but it'll still on pace for a good daily wear watch.

This watch is fabulous, although it should be considered a unisex watch. At this size it's suitable for either men or women. I would definitely purchase another one with different colors on the face and band.
