This was a good find it has all the style and charm of the Explorer II without the massive price tag - very retro -It is obviously well made - I am very happy with it - Tissot certainly package their products well.

The watch was received from JomaShop in the original box, in excellent condition, although very dusty. This model is my third Tissot Automatic watch, a brand offering excellent value in the area of style and automatic movement.

JomaShop is not an authorized Tissot dealer, so the factory warranty is invalid. JomaShop offers a one year warranty. This should not be a problem: my first Tissot (one of the Ballade models) was purchased about ten years ago and is running without fault.

The PRS516 is a very good looking sport watch resembling brands costing three times as much.

Do not expect quartz accuracy: the watch will either run slow or fast, about 4 or 5 minutes a week. But who cares when there is no need to change batteries.

There are, of course, better automatic Tissots one can buy, but not for 300 US$.

To summarize: very good looks and quality if you want a sporty watch.

I know what you are thinking, but let me explain. My favorite watch would have to be an Omega; however I can not afford one, I am sure, like many out there. This watch is affordable and awesome. It feels strong and well made. The design is excellent, especially the 3D look of the hands passing under the minute markers. The craftsmanship is topnotch. The automatic movement is steady. I wear the watch to work and take it off at home and put on my Seiko Kinetic. The Tissot keeps time accurately. I read tons of reviews on Tissot watches and have heard many great things. I had wanted to buy the T-Touch, but really did not need the features, and heard from many people that the T-Touch is a bit finicky.

I now have 7 Tissot time pieces: the Le Cloe and 4 of these; the white face (2) and has become my favorite look; It's a solid hefty watch; the stainless steel platform feels substantial and the movement is accurate. My watch maker placed new seals and lubricated (serviced). I love this watch. Mine were purchased used; the watch keeps time like a battery chronograph, it should be serviced once every 5 years, I'm told.

This piece cured my Rolex envy and eliminated the Omega Seamaster desire. A really outstanding thing is the florescent compound Tissot uses on the hour and minute hands; they work. After a few seconds exposure to a light source they're glowing bight enough to be functional! Each hour is boldly marked with the stuff on the flat surface attached to the surface of the "L" shaped hour marker protruding from each's hour positioning on the face. Very well done by the designers. The black bezel has an understated flat "carbon fiber black" color that is just right in contrast to the white arabic numerals (1-12) arrayed around its clock face perimeter. Well done, Tissot. Wish I had gotten it earlier, is as succinct as I can say it.

After few weeks I realized my watch ran faster than normal. And since this is my first automatic watch, can anybody give me a solution ?

I ordered it expedited seeing that I was ordering it on my brother's birthday. My brother has not received it even after 5 business days! Why did I pay extra to expedite it? Are they assembling the watch as we speak???

To be fair, the vendor was Authentic Watches, but Amazon shouldn't deal with vendors like this!!!
