I like the fact that it is inexpressive and does most functions that you need, (Alarm, date, stop watch and timer).

I spent quite some time looking for a watch that would work for me for all the travel that I do.
I wanted multiple times, alarm and a back-light in a watch that looked stylish, and the Tissot delivers all this plus more.

Unlike many watches that offer the similar functionality such as the Citizen Sky Hawk, (which has no backlight) the watch face is uncluttered and easy to read with a quick glance.

The digital display is clear and the red backlight with its three levels of intensity is a great bonus unique to the Navigator range of the Tissot Touch series, (Not sure why they did not introduce this in the other Touch watches).

The functionality is ideal... World time, Alarm, Calender, Stop watch and Timer... each one of these fuctions has daily use potential, unlike the other Tissot Touch watches with altimeter (Why?), compass (that needs calibrating and Why?) and temperature (As long as you take it off your wrist and leave it alone for 15 minutes)!

The backlight is accessed by twisting the crown and the different functions are accessed by pressing in the crown and then touching one of six areas on the face, no other buttons used! FANTASTIC.

The watch has been bashed and nicley abused, but has so far shown no scratches on the face and only mild scuffing on the bezel. The strap is nicely made and the clasp is very strong...no complaints there, and remember I am used to the Omega which is built like a tank.

The only downside so far is that it is fairly chunky compared to the Seamaster I wear when not travelling, and the paint inside the engraved wording of the bezel that indicates the function began to peel.

Although I have numerous vintage Tissot watches, and a few new ones, this is the first in the T-Touch series that I've acquired. The watch looks great - the grey band with orange highlights and same coloration on the dial is stunning - and the world time function (especially the ability to swap between home and traveling zones) is great. I'm glad that it was possible to select a non-European orientation of the month and date - on another T-Touch acquired subsequently, I have to keep reminding myself that "3-2" is February 3rd, not March 2nd. My only caution to prospective buyers, however - one that is echoed in numerous reviews of other watches in the T-Touch series - is that this is a very complicated watch, and the manual is written by the same person that authored those little hieroglyphs on the buttons on your car, whatever they're supposed to represent... I had the watch a week before finding a sufficient block of time to play with it, "read" the manual, and yell at no one in particular, before I could set the time/date and put it on my wrist.

I bought one middle of 2007 because I travel frequently to different timezones. However, I have had to return it three times already for repairs.

Once the handles got stuck, then the light didn't work, and now the time keeps flashing and the handles are stuck on the date. When I buy a watch of a decent brand for a decent price, I expect it to work for more than a year without such issues.

Tissot Navigator 3000 looks nice, has nice features, it's pricey and then it becomes expensive as it has a large BUT. BUT, mine is 2.5yrs old. I set the alarm for 6am wake up to the Can-Can, hung it in my tent. Went off on time, great. I pushed the activation button for touch screen to turn off the alarm. No action, the button would not activate the watch features. It told time, but that was all. I had Ben Bridge send it in to have the activation button fixed. BUT, Tissot replied "$365".

The repair department at Tissot must be in the business of making revenue, under the guise of repairing their products. Silly me for thinking the beautiful Tissot at over $600 in price would last longer than 2.5 yrs. Can you afford $365 every 2yrs to tell time and have a pretty alarm? Tissot really should stand behind their product, their reputation would spread and they'll sell a lot more watches that they can be proud of and that owners would enjoy as both functional and a nice looking watch. I like my watch, but repairing a critical button after 2.5yrs of use for $$1/2 the cost of the watch is silly. Update 8/1202012, even more amusing.... they're charging me $51.74 to mail their product back to me unrepaired. Tissot just keeps getting better and better, funny, though I'm not laughing. Poor poor poor customer service.

You want to know CS? I have Leica and Swarovski binoculars... very expensive.

I have this watch for almost 5 years I love the look and its features as i am almost every week in a different time zone. the down side is that the watch is not reliable at all - i have had to take it in several times for repair as several features stopped working. recently it stopped functioning again and i was told the entire mechanisim has to be changed (something I would not expect from a watch that is marketed as a high end quality)- and they asked for 350 USD to repair the watch. My sons Casio that went through tough training is already 6 years old with zero problems. I wrote to Tissot in Swiss and am waiting for there answer. In any case I would not purchase another Tissot - the reliability of the products is very poor. My friend has a T Touch and had to replace it after 3 months - and now after 4 years it has a problem again.
