With this watch you get Saphire crystal, Silver guilloche dial, clasical design, thick leather strap with deployment clasp, etc. without spending thousands of dollar.

Its like a miracle how Tissot can make this watch at this price. The craftmanship of this watch is excellent. I have observed the dial with x10 loupes and quite surprise with the high quality of workmanship which surpass many Swiss watches at x4 price (or even more).

The great engine that drive this watch is ETA 2824-2 with 28,800 bph - same as you can find in lots of expensive Swiss brands. And with this watch Tissot give you a gold plated rotor which can be seen from the half-open back too.

This Tissot Le Locle is 40 mm. diameter (exclude the crown) and 10 mm. thick. Its case is side brushed (hair line) with polished bezel which make it looks great.

If you looking for a classic design watches with a fine craftmanship this watch is a perfect choice.

This is my second Tissot watch among many other brands. The other Tissot is the PRC200 (quartz). I thought I'd check out one of their automatics and this Le Locle fit the bill perfectly. A gorgeous watch for the price. Craftsmanship, attention to detail, accuracy, etc. all lend themselves to much more expensive timepieces. Highly recommend this watch to someone looking for simplicity and class.

Very impressed with the packaging and presentation, leaves very little to be desired, even when compared to higher tier watches I've previously bought. Solid, work-horse, ETA movement is working precisely and probably up to COSC standards even though it's not certified.
Croc strap isn't the best I've seen but the deployant clasp feels very solid and doesn't pop up unexpectedly.
The only thing that bothers me with this watch, aesthetically, is that while the whole dial has a silvery sheen, the date window is matte white, and the difference in the finishing is pretty noticeable in the sunlight and breaks the symmetry of the dial.
Overall, very satisfied for the price paid. Would recommend above anything else for a dress watch in this range.

Without a doubt one of Tissot's all time CLASSICS! I'm a huge Tissot fan, and this watch is one of the most beautiful pieces they produce - almost as nice as some of their Heritage Timepieces - could easily pass for one of those exclusive pieces.

Case size is perfect - silver guilloche dial with the black Roman Numerals is stunning in person! Caseback has open exhibition so you can see the automatic movement along with a beautifully decorated caseback. This watch is a winner no matter how you look at it - you'd pay thousands were it released from another brand. Once again, Tissot has come out with a watch which has superior quality for virtually nothing - I would easily have paid over $1000 for this watch!

The only drawback on it is the leather strap is slightly "hard" and not as soft as would be expected (this is typical of most Tissots I have). Calfskin would have been nice, or even perhaps a croc strap, but at this price you can afford to buy another strap and still have saved. Deployant buckle is great in helping to preserve the leather strap, just a LOT of nice touches Tissot has made to this watch at such a BARGAIN price. BUY THIS WATCH - you will be very happy with it!

I spent a great deal of time researching watches before buying the Le Locle. Tissot is a respected Swiss brand with a good history. The watch is well crafted and has quality components found in much more expensive watches. It is elegant and understated with a vintage look.
    Very nice buy.

So a couple of things here - a seller's review and a product review:

    Seller's review -
I bought this from luxurywatchstore. Prompt communication and delivery of product - received it in proper mint condition as expected. No hassles at all from the sellers - that's always a nice positive to have. Turned out that I had some missing info in my delivery address - they sorted it over email and were very courteous and efficient.

    Watch review -
Standard issue disclaimer first up - This being my first mechanical watch, I really only have quartz watches to benchmark against. I've had this for a few days now, and it is really a beautiful watch. The Gullioche pattern really lends an air of class and sophistication to the watch. The Roman numerals do a great job of being clear, big enough to read while not grabbing attention at the same time. As with mechanical watches, the second hand is in continuous motion which I personally like (not the tick-tock of the quartz watch). The watch uses a standard ETA 2824-2 movement, which is partly visible from the back end of the watch. It is quite interesting to play around with the pendulum setup and see how things work overall (whatever little that we can actually see). The clasp and the leather are comfortable to wear and adjusted pretty soon to my wrist shape, as they should. The watch keeps time very well (kinda expected, right?). This being my first mechanical watch, I was slightly wary about it running over or under time; but the automatic mechanism works great. Hopefully it keeps on going this way.

The watch looks exactly as the picture - a huge bonus! Some watches look very different from the picture and in real life - but what you see is exactly what you get.
