This Tissot Powermatic stainless steel watch is designed for the contemporary woman who prefers casual dress but still requires a stylish flair. Very happy with this watch. I love watches, I've owned dozens, but I'm sick of the junky throwaways. Now I'm down to two. A Longines for special occasions, and this Tissot for every day.

features:

*self winding: no more dead batteries!
*easy to read, great looking face.
*heavy duty construction. And yes, it is actually heavy.
*bracelet band with extra safe clasp (my old watch had a less beefy clasp on the bracelet and often got caught on things, popping open - this one will never do that because of the way it's constructed)

This is my first "nice" watch purchase. After several weeks of research, I picked this one over a more pricy Tag. Now, after having worn it almost daily for close to a month, I am still very happy with the purchase. It is fairly heavy, very sturdy, easy to read, has a date and does not need winding or a battery. It took about a week before it had enough power reserve to go through the night without resetting the time. It comes with a ~16.5cm / 6.5" long band, so there's plenty of room for wrist size adjustment. It is thick, the watch itself stands 7mm off the wrist and the band measures 3mm thick (15mm wide); the clasp is easy to use with the push button opening. I have dropped it and banged it several times already (haven't had links taken out yet) and the crystal is perfect; the scuffs I made on the band and ring around the crystal show if you look really close. The hands on the watch are silver with a glow in the dark matte line down the center; which only glows if you've been in sunlight prior to. Overall, I am very pleased thus far, and think it is an exceptionally good value for an attractive, easy to read, sturdy "nice" watch.

My wife says:
This is one of my preferred watches. Contrary to my other automatic watches, I can leave it on the dresser; wear another watch and a few days later, still running perfect. It keeps good time but the crown is a little tight for date adjustment. Very confortable band and the weight is perfect. I like the second hand and the time is very legible at all times.
