Recently I spilled some beer on my XBox 360 wireless controller and it turns out they use Torx TR-8 security screws. All the local shops didn't have heads that were long and narrow enough at the tip. This collapsible set works wonderfully for taking it apart and cleaning the minor stickiness that prevented my ABXY buttons from functioning properly. As a side benefit, I was able to grease my triggers, eliminating a minor squeak.

Anyway, this set is compact which is great for my toolbox since I rarely use Torx TR screws, built from strong metals that will last me a long time.

I perform a great deal of remote site service and all the equipment is mounted in racks that use exotic screws for security purposes. Needless to say this handy tool saves me the need to carry a tool box with a selection of the appropriate drivers. It is compact and contains most of the basic sizes and has a ball at the end for the tight spaces where you cannot place a tool at the perpendicular. I would recommend this tool very highly if you have space and weight constraints.

Nice little star set for very small tasks. This is not meant to be stressed at all. These bend easily. Hasn't broken yet.

It is good to have a tool that can open all appliances and electronics. It can save you lots of money and a trip to repair shop.

Nice tool. Just what I needed. Came quickly too. I was able to fix an item that I would have had to replace.

It's not precision made. The holes seem slightly off center but did not interfere with the screws I took off. I guess it's within tolerance and be careful not to strip the head's of these wrenches. Make sure it is fully inserted in screw head before tightening and or loosening.

I purchased this so i could take apart my Xbox 360 controller. I spilled a soda on it and the buttons had gotten sticky. Worked perfectly for what i wanted it for. They are a little tougher to move one tool out than you might think, but it's fine. They're strong and solid, yet light-weight.

This tamper Proof key set is perfect for all those difficult torx screws with the cylinder looking piece in the middle that prevents other torx screwdrivers from working. The set is very sturdy and has many different sizes. Great to have on hand

I love this tool so much! I was going to buy another one (in-case it was to get striped) but this tool is of such good grade that I trust it completely to last me for a very long time!

After a couple of years of heavy use in a home with two dogs that absolutely refuse to stop shedding the relationship between my Xbox 360 controllers and I had become slightly tense. I don't blame the controllers. I mean, hours at a time spent in my sweaty mitts and surrounded by canine detritus, they really were defenseless. But I cannot deny that they were disgusting. With a smell not unlike boiled cabbage, hot garbage, or ketchup I knew it was time to either replace 'em or decontaminate them. But those daggone tamper-proof screws! Oh, the lamentations!!! I have more Torx keys than I am comfortable admitting on such a public forum but none of them could crack the malevolently crafty protection of the little tamper-proof buggers. Queue the Titan 12710 Tamper-Proof Star Key Set (aka: The Fixer). It wasn't but a matter of minutes and my controllers were disassembled and their funk submerged in a warm bath of water, dish soap and anti-plague disinfectant. I can now battle the hordes without the distraction of wondering whether or not I should be in full MOPP4 gear, or at least wearing a set of latex surgeons gloves.
