Bought this for crimping small wire terminals. Overall it's a good product and it does the job. I've had other crimpers and this by far exceeds the others. Definitely spend the extra few dollars and buy this to save your hand from cramps/battle wounds.

I compared these to similar units at Home Depot and Lowes costing twice as much, and I can't find a single major difference. This is a great value, and has excellent build quality. The crimps this makes beats an electrical multi-tool's crimps any day.

This works very well. It is adjustable so you can match your crimps. Very strong crimps and reliable. Has a release tab in case you get half way on a crimp and need to start over. I use it to put a double crimp on the metal on heat shrink crimps. I am not crimping the insulator. Both crimps are the same size so this seems like the way it was intended. I bought my crimps from http://genuinedealz.com/, good prices, free shipment. This is for marine grade stuff.

If you have any but connections to make on your car or truck, buy this crimper. I used it to install an electric fan to replace a fan clutch. Not only did it save my hands but this crimper double crips. Yes DOUBLE CRIMPS. I have driven the truck in 110 degree weather and zero failiure, that is amazing.

I've done a lot of crimping using a conventional crimper, but thought I'd give these a shot for rewiring the boat. They crimp both the wire and the insulation in one shot, which is nice. My only concern is that the two crimps are symmetrical, meaning that the die in the tool squeezes the wire in the same way it squeezes the insulation. The fact that it's symmetrical is good from the standpoint that I don't have to worry about which way the tool is oriented relative to the splice, but whether the insulation crimp is acceptable remains to be seen.

The cheap, single crimp, wire crimpers make crimps that don't hold well. This crimper makes a double crimp that holds well over the long run. It is easy to use; but, does require some hand strength to complete the crimp. The crimp that is made is so strong that it is very difficult to remove the wire terminal if you change you mind and wish to remove it.

I purchased this tool to crimp speaker wire connections for an in-ceiling install and the tool creates good solid crimps.

very nice crimping tool, heavy duty, feels solid in the hand and does the job in one shot. I would recommend this crimper to anyone.
