This is the first book of the Gaea series, and you will want to read the whole series for any of this to make sense.
This is high adventure in the truest sense with a wild mix of science and fantasy elements as opposed to wall to wall action.
I didn't see why we needed to read who "got it on" with who, when we were just beginning to get to know the characters.
