This thing works great. The blade is not retractable so you don't have to worry about it slipping out of place while you are scraping.

Excellent razor for electric oven top,

This is an excellent razor for an electric oven top. I used it for the film that burns on sometimes and can't be removed by wiping with a spray or product. I was concerned it would scratch the surface but it was fine (assume you use it correctly and not bury the razor into the glass).
