Tool is great for putting the springs back on, not so great for taking them off. I tried several times to take off the spring with this but it kept slipping off. Finally I just used a large screw driver and popped the spring off. However you do need this tool to put the spring back on it's almost impossible with out it.

Used on a door spring from a 94 Chevy K1500. All I can say is that it worked as it should and made doing the work I needed to do a lot easier.
When I used it I did lubricate the bolt/nut/washer, plus it is a little tricky to tighten/loosen the tool while in the door jamb. Also might take you a try or two extra to get enough spring to compress to remove it? Just my 2 cents, but I liked it and would buy it again.

Not a quality product,

The tool broke upon my first use of it. I was able to remove the spring but it then broke just infront of the bolt where is a slight bend in the clamp. I would recommend this type of tool but would look for a heavier duty alternative from another manufacturer.
