If you want to see the perfect special effects, and if your behind doesn't get tired for sitting through nearly 3+ hours, then this movie is perfect. To review this movie must be silly--for everyone on the planet must have seen it at least once somewhere. In truth, this movie is much like its older brothers (there have been at least 3 movies about Titanic made--including "A Night To Remember.") The movie is long, but flows nicely. I even enjoyed the relationship between the main characters--and I thought, prior to seeing this movie, it would be the weekest part. This movie gets closer to the facts than any other movie about Titanic; coupled with the special effects and acting, the movie takes you on an epic adventure--even though everyone knows the ending. Watch this movie for its effects and its script. It's nearly a perfect film--even with some of its minor flaws. The ending is also a cause of some conflict. Some people think Rose was only sleeping in the end. Others speculated she died and her soul went to heaven to reunite with the lost souls. I believe she died and her spirit (what made her a special human being/her thoughts/the essence of who she was) drifted off to the past. Her fondest memories went back to Titanic just as she died. That's another reason I love this movie. It'll let you draw your own conclusions.
