About the Author

Cora Harrison taught primary school children in England for twenty-five years before moving to a small farm in Kilfenora, Co Clare. The farm includes an Iron Age fort, with the remains of a small castle inside it, and the mysterious atmosphere of this ancient place gave Cora the idea for a series of historical novels tracing the survival of Drumshee through the centuries.
