This review is from: Titanium Series Transformers 6 Inch Metal Cybertron Heroes Jetfire (Toy)
If you owned the original Jetfire that was released in the 80's, and were expecting an all metal version of that classic Macross based design, you will be sorely disappointed. The transformation of the figure differs significantly from the original, enough to make one question the name on the box. Whereas the original allowed me to play Transformers or Macross, this new figure just annoys me.
Calling it a metal Transformer is also inaccurate - like calling a car an all metal product would be inaccurate. There are metal parts, but most of the figure is still plastic - not unlike the first generation Optimus Prime from the 80's. That said, the quality of the figure is still good. It's a pain to transform, and not nearly as high quality as the name suggests, but it isn't horrible. If you're looking for nostalgia from your youth, look elsewhere... if you're looking for a toy for your grandkid, you could do worse.

it keeps my 4 yr old pre-occupied at least, to be fair, with its different swiveling parts - but I'll have to say, the wings (even in the right position ) do not fit well onto the body & gets dislodged during play a little too easily - as does the lower body from the upper shoulder/ head area -- the whole thing does look cool, but I wish the mfg would have paid closer attention to the little details that really make a difference

Jetfire is pretty easily transformed, but playability is hindered by detachable pieces. Great for nostalgia, though.

I was very disapointed with the size of this toy and the price it cost. I evidently didn't see the 6" when i ordered it, because I would have never purchased it.
