I just loved Tito Nieves! When he did this duo with Marco Solis, it just blew me away. Tito Nieves En Vivo is another CD that I have purchased from countless CD that I have on Tito. In this cd Tito Nieves En Vivo, he has out done himself. I love his strong voice, his energy is 110% especially in concerts. When I go to the clubs and I'm dancing salsa, I tell the guy, if you can sing like Tito Nieves, I'm all yours!!! Believe me, alot of guys try singing like Tito Nieves but they fail miserably!

Okay "mi gente". This one is a keeper folks. The musical arrangements done by the piano player Sergio George on this production are great. I haven't always been a Tito Nieves fan. Yes, I like some of the other things he's done but not everything. But this one, both Marco Antonio and Tito doing a duet they did hit the ball right out of the park. Que bonito. It really sounds excellent. I had to get on my piano keyboard right away and try to put together all the neat chords. I also heard the song "Mi Mayor Sacrificio" in a ballad form done by Marco Antonio Solis which sounds incredible as well. I can see why Mr. Nieves teamed up with the man. I admit that I have not heard to many songs by Marco Antonio Solis before. But now that I have heard his ballad version I will definitely be on the alert for more of his music. The guy is an outstanding singer in his own right. Would you believe I walked into Walmart and they actually had the CD there? I was shocked that it wasn't already sold out. This is one for the salsa collectors. However, just one small con. There is just a little to much praising of Mr. Sergio George by Tito Nieves. C'mon, it is a team effort. Give yourself credit too Tito. For this reason I took away one star. How bout you and Mr. Sergio George keep batting at more of those english salsa arrangements as well. One of those just might become a major hit too. NICE WORK GUYS!

I have to admit the dvd was better. This album still will go down in history as one of Tito's best. If you love and collect Salsa like I do, This is a must. The great ones sing it LIVE! This album also includes a new release with Marco Antonio Solis not shown or recorded on the dvd.
