5.0 out of 5 stars King Titus, February 4, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Titus Rules! (Hardcover)
This book is awesome! It is about Titus, the Queen's Corgi, and England. It is funny. I especially like the part where Titus tells the others that the Queen is his servant.

The librarian read this to our second grade class. If you like dogs, queens, England or funny stories, I recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars a darling children's book, March 30, 2007
This review is from: Titus Rules! (Library Binding)
Very cute story of the Queen of England, her curmudgeonly husband, and the Queen's new favorite pup. Good illustrations, reading level for elementary kids, and quirky sense of humor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm characterization blends with whimsical humor, April 20, 2003
This review is from: Titus Rules! (Hardcover)
John Eastwood provides the engaging illustrations for Titus Rules!, a story of a Queen's favorite dog, and Titus' bravery in keeping on the alert. Warm characterization blends with whimsical humor with a peppering of black and white drawings in this warm story of a brave royal pet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Corgi Fun at the Palace, July 7, 2005
This review is from: Titus Rules! (Hardcover)
A jolly account of the adventures of one of the Queen's Corgi puppies. Amusing drawings, and a view of the royals from a Corgi's point of view. Should be enjoyed by readers from 8 to 80.

4.0 out of 5 stars So cute!, January 17, 2011

This review is from: Titus Rules! (Paperback)
I was honored to care for and live with a wonderful Corgi for nearly 16 years. All things Corgi interest me! This book was available at my local library in hardback. I loved the story and the cute illustrations! This author also wrote "Babe" about the sheep-herding pig! Well, I ordered "Titus Rules" as a Christmas gift to myself but ended up with the paperback version. Since I've seen and read the book twice in two formats, I can say the story is great, just super, but the better format is hardback. Pages are a cleaner white and the book feels better. Any recommendations on other Corgi material are appreciated!

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved the concept but....., August 24, 2007

This review is from: Titus Rules! (Paperback)
I bought this book for my 8 year old. We have a corgi and I thought she would love the idea of the Queen's corgi's. She did, but I was uncomfortable with the drinking and smoking in the book. It didn't need to be in there. The rest of the book was enjoyable. Buy it if you feel comfortable with smoking and drinking "romantized".
