This sunblock is the absolute best. It is light and silky on your face and leaves a smooth matte finish. The perfect face sunblock worn alone or under makeup...it feels kind of like a primer, it makes your face feel smooth like a baby's butt. Not greasy and fragrance free. The reviewer who gave it 1 star is not correct...even thought this product feels light it gives great protection. That is what is so special about it. It isn't makeup coverage, just a light tint which gives you a summer glow all year long. Plus, great waterproof, all day protection. I would buy it by the case if I could.

Goes on great, feels great, used for water sports and never got sunburned. BUT just read ingredient I missed when I bought it: Alumina is aluminum oxide. Here's the details (something to consider if you are predisposed for any degenerative or neurological diseases). VERY disappointed as this product is all it claims to be except for this ingredient.

Excellent stuff, the only sunscreen I have ever used that did not clog pores...goes on like very sheer matte makeup. Works great, just HARD to find this stuff!

My wife started going to the dermatologist about a year ago - she is fifty years old and has olive skin. She spent a lot of quality time in the sun as a kid - back in the days when you put real butter on your body to get a darker tan (who knew back then?). Anyway, now, as an aging adult, she has a lot of dark spots on her skin (wouldn't it be great if we could go back and do it again without ever going into the sun and/or always wearing sunscreen and see how we would have aged?). The dermatologist gave my wife a mini face peel (that cost $200), which frankly was only maybe about 35% effective in removing the discoloration, and then said you must wear sunscreen every single day - whether you have on foundation with sunblock or not. He specifically gave her this Tizo3 with tint. Although it goes on like a liquid foundation, it quickly dries and is not greasy and (mostly) does not settle in wrinkles (so you don't look as tired at the end of the day). My wife uses it instead of foundation because it provides pretty good coverage of the skin discoloration, and then puts a mineral powder (like bare minerals MINERAL VEIL or similar product) on top . That combination gives the Tizo sunscreen an appearance that is good for work (in other words, a sufficient appearance that you have on a nice foundation). When not at work, my wife wears the Tizo without powder. My wife said that if you are not careful and put too much on in one spot, it can look like it is caked. With regard to skin color, my wife's mother uses the product too now - and she has fair skin and says it works for her too, so I don't know how to explain why this tint works on different skin tones, but I can see it works for my wife's olive skin tone for sure. In any event, it is a good product, dermatologist recommended, and it lasts a really long time (much longer than when my wife used to buy foundations). Not perfect, but an overall good product.

This is the BEST suncreen product available! It goes on smoothly. Doesn't get sticky and its lightly tinted so u can skip the foundation if you want. I apply my foundation over it and it blends in perfectly. Doesn't peel off or leave your face shiny. A little goes a long way.

I've been searching high and low for a physical sunscreen that wouldn't leave a horrible white cast on my skin, and I thought the reviews here were too good to be true. Well, the tinted version blended into my skin seamlessly and it felt amazing. That's why I gave it 2 stars. But then it clogged my pores and made me break out horribly. So I looked at the ingredients and realized the reason why this sunscreen feels so silky smooth is because it's loaded with silicone. It's like using a makeup primer. If you wear makeup and use a primer kind of like (Smashbox Photo Finish or similar dimethicone primers) every single day and not have a problem, this sunscreen would be great for you. It's a good product, just not for my skin. So if you're sensitive to silicone, stay away from this. My search continues...

Here's the ingredients....

Active: Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide
Inactive: Alumina, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Lauryl PEG/PPG-18/18 Methicone, Methicone, PEG-10 Dimethicone
