To Carlie With Love is an inspiring book written with love from a Grandfather to his Granddaughter sharing his life experiences as a young child who grows up into a wonderful Husband, Father and now Grandfather. Without giving the touching parts of this book away, it is a must for anyone who has children and wants them to know what life was like back then as we now say "The Good Ole Days". This would be a great stocking stuffer for the readers that want to read a book written with love, emotion and memories we all want to share with the author.

Excellently written, "To Carlie With Love" is a heartwarming and moving book. It's message of love relates to all ages. While I was reading this book, I re-experienced loving memories of my own grandparents and was filled with the delight and love of these relationships. Ed Kesgen is an excellent author and I will look forward to his next publication!

"To Carlie-With Love-From Grandad" was written by a long time and dear friend. That aside, the book was a joy to read because it allowed me to also celebrate the life of "Grandad", Ed Kesgen. Mr Kesgen's recollections, thoughts and observations reached deeply into my own life and caused many moments of self reflection and discussion with my family members. This is a warm book that would be enjoyed by any one who has been living in the 2nd half of the 20th century and now the 21st.

Ed Kesgen is a gifted author who relates his own joys and sorrows experienced while growing up in New Jersey during the post-WWII era into cherished personal and family values to be passed on to his grandchildren. Ed's "EarthSchool journey" is a heart-warming collection of autobiographic vignettes which identify and reinforce the important values of our spiritual lives. Although your life experiences may be different than Ed's, you will undoubtedly relate to and benefit from the values Ed shares in this book.

This is a mesmerizing little book that will interest anyone who loves life. There is a smile or a life lesson on every page. Dr. Kesgen has a knack for helping us to appreciate life's small but meaningful moments and for helping us to see the impact that friends and family have upon our lives and, in turn, how we impact others. This is a very positive and inspirational read for all ages.

Normally limited to the Baldacci, Clancy, Vince Flynn genres, I was blown away at how much I enjoyed and was impacted by Kesgen's book written to his granddaughter. It brought me back to what's truly important--people relationships. Well written, moving and motivating. Bravo. A great read!

I really enjoyed reading about growing in East Rutherford and reading Ed's autobiography leading up to the future.

What a wonderful idea to document and share for Carlie and everyone. How often do you wonder about a grandfather, parent, friend's life and feelings. Nicely written, with yes LOVE!!! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your next book.

Dr. Ed Kesgen hits a home run with "To Carlie With Love...." In his autobiography written in a very eloquent manner to his very young granddaughter, he details his experiences acquired in EarthSchool. These experiences include but are no limited to role models, accepting people with challenges, grief, family, war, love, spirituality, illness and children. As you read these pages, you cannot help but reflect your life journey. The word that best describes this read is "warm." This will be an excellent addition to anyone's library.
