More About the Author

Three neurotic cats, four amazing kids, a house full of books, a wonderful job, a swift bus, the world wide web, and awesome friends are what take up most of my day. And when I have an extra second, I love to jot down some words.

Born in Seattle Washington, I grew to love fresh air and a good cup of Joe. I also loved to write, and did so from the time I could hold a pencil.

Marriage and motherhood caused me to put writing on the back burner until the death of my best friend/spouse, brought it front and center again.

Through it all I have learned that writing is a gift I have been given, one that I am humbled to have received. And it is a gift that I plan on unwrapping for years to come.

A wonderful book written from the heart by a new author who has a heart for helping others to heal. Even if you had a full time dad in your life this is a great read to remind of you the ways that God is your ultimate father.

This is an interesting book and has a lot of valid points; however, I am quite bothered by the frequent grammatical errors that appear. Could of rather than could have and a confusion of when to use woman and women are frequent errors. The author should brush up on the punctuation rules for apostrophes also. I cannot spend much time reading the book until I get so annoyed that I put it down and read something else instead. I hope that the print edition has had more thorough editing.

How often we are broken and damaged by the relationship we have over the years with our natural daddy's - or those of us who have no framework because we are abandoned children by fathers who should have loved us. It is so easy to understand in this - the context WHY we want to KNOW the God our Father - the One in whom daughters can place their trust and faith in - the ONE who loves us relentlessly and unconditionally. That is the relationship we desire and that fills the empty hole in our hearts. Knowing God helps us restore and be whole. Love, love, love this book.

I really believe this book was an inspiration. It is a great book that draws in the fact that God loves us and wants us to have a close relationship with us.

This book will give wisdom and insight about our awesome Heavenly Father. This wisdom comes from the Bible, from the experiences of the author, and other peoples' experiences all woven together clearly. Three groups of people will benefit from this book: 1)Those with flawed earthly fathers 2)Those who want to be the best fathers they can be to their children 3)Those of us who want a better relationship with our Heavenly Father who loves us.

I couldn't wait until I finished the book to write this review because I believe it will give the above groups what they are seeking.

Very insightful book that you will enjoy and will want to re-read. Would like more from this author. Would also make a great gift for anyone but especially those who did not have the best experience with their earthly fathers.

This book completely confused me on my beliefs of My God. I have always believed God loves me and is always here with me. But, passages in this book made Him sound angry, frustrated, upset because He was bothered. The writer writes as though he knows what God is thinking. The author did nothing to bring me closer to God.
