This third installment to the Philadelphia Crim Series is by far the best. After the first two, the characters of the PPD feel like old friends, and I am happy to be back following them while they solve the crimes that are plaguing the city. This book, much like the second, takes a topic we are all discussing in our every day life (Online Dating in Silk on the Rocks and Insurance Premiums in A Toast to Justice) and brings them to a whole new level. I got my copy on Saturday night and just finished it! I could not put it down. Can't wait to see what comes next from David S. Tanz!

Congrats to the author, David Tanz, he out did himself in "A Toast to Justice". I found myself making extra trips to my reading chair to find out what was going to happen to my favorite characters. After reading the first two books I couldn't wait to see where I would be taken by the author. His knowledge of Philadelphia and the crimes associated with the wicked minds of those involved keep you turning the pages. It was great seeing another book emerge from Mr Tanz and I hope number 4 is soon to be released. If you pick up this series you will see how an author has evolved from a writer and story teller to a fictional novelist.

I started this series by David S. Tanz with the first installment, A Shot of Brandi and have been hooked ever since. The author takes you inside the minds of the characters and you feel as if you know them and their next move until the twists begin to take the story in an entirely other direction. Every character has a unique story that is developing in each installment of the crime thrillers. I can't wait to see where the next one takes them. A definite page turner and fun read! I highly recommend this series!

Absolutely love this series by David Tanz! Not only does he capture your attention, but he is definitely unexpected and always keeps you guessing. These are the best books to bring with you anywhere! Each one has the perfect combination of drama and action which keeps the story exciting and also helps you really get to know the characters. He really brings each one's emotions, motives, and overall personality to life, which in my opinion sets his books apart from others in a similar genre. He understands how to keep you interested and you won't be able to put the book down! Can't wait for more books or a movie version one day! :)

Tanz's writing keeps improving. Any reader can relate to the resentment that most of America feels about insurance companies and the difficulties they cause their members. The novel weaves back and forth between characters and settings, while also capturing the vibe and inner working of an urban center. The characters are well developed and you get to know them as some are in all 3 books. Suspense is maintained and the book keeps you guessing. You will be right only some of the time.

If murder, mystery, intrigue is your fetish---this book captures all the details. Mr. Tanz keeps the reader tangled in a web of suspense and thrills. The Trilogy of Gando lives on---but not all the characters! Readers will be especially captivated about
references to Atlantic City and Philadelphia crime stories. Looking forward to the next book --- or TV mini series !!
