I can't believe I'm saying this......but......,
This review is from: A Toast to Men (F**k the Men) (Audio CD)
.....This is a frickin' catchy song. There are times where Willa Ford's persona and vocal stylings still sicken me (and I'm sticking to my statement that her debut album was bad), but this single is some damn sassy, nasty, filthy fun-even if you're a guy. I thought "I Wanna Be Bad" was Willa's only halfway decent song, but this track is disturbingly addictive. She still makes the mistake of believing that by being explosively, revealingly slutty, she's claiming female independence. I suppose there is some kind of sick, twisted appeal to her-her hell-bent skankiness aside, she has qualities rather similar to those of Eminem-you really wish you could hate her, because she's just so b*tchy-but she brings out that part in all of us, that eff the world persona you'll just love getting in touch with in her music. And I must admit, broadening the horizons of the falsely labeled pop world is something I am always open to. I suppose with this, she has earned her title as the Eminem of teen pop-though interestingly, this track is far more a mesh of hip hop and rock-her formerly known bubble-guminess is absent in this single. The guest rapper also pulls the verses together very nicely-she has a flow similar to Eve's. The chorus will get stuck in your head whether you like it or not, so prepare yourself. All in all, I never thought I'd say this, but well done, Willa.

It's ok,
This review is from: A Toast to Men (F**k the Men) (Audio CD)
I just think it's an ok tune. Yes, I do agree with Antibritney about the fact that she does sound a lot like Britney Spears, which I hate.
The beats are damn catchy, though. So, overall, it's ok. Heard better, heard worse.

I 100% LOVE this groovy, foot tapping and addictive beat. She is just fantastic. The deep hard groove, (Johnny Budz Exp.Mix is the best) in my professional opinion, and the time length is JUST enough, if it was any longer in time it may be annoying, unless another remixer caught a hold of this single. It is simply excellent. The video is wonderful, in a cheezy manor, yet that makes you watch it, and enjoy the song even more. HIGHLY recommended. Jason Prof. DJ

Willa Ford is Bad, Again!,

This review is from: A Toast to Men (F**k the Men) (Audio CD)
To count how many explicit words are in this song, you need more than a elementary school education. haha. Dont let the explicit lyrics stop you, this is clearly a DANCE anthem for 2004! If you herd "I wanna be bad" then you'll love this single. This single features Even more crazy beats and amazing vocals performed by willa towards the end. May, the rapper makes a great debut with catchy phrases and mind blowing rhymes. Not only that but willa does a "ragge" break down in the middle! If your heading toward the club, this song should be in your cd player! 5 stars for willa! " wait until sexy sex obsessive relases"

The review below this one is clearly a major under statement and is not valid due to the reviewer who is an ( Anti-willa fan). Reviews are not judged on if you like the artist, this specific review is on the song "A toast to men" not on ( if you like willa ford or not) stupid anti willa fan below obiously cant read. -----> back to my review ::Willa Ford shows how far talent can go in this single of "A Toast To Men". This is clearly a dance anthem. The best beats and music in the background and the best two people to take the spot of vocals make this a song that must be on your shelf. Willa ford featuring may (may is a new female rappe that makes a dramatic and rythematic debut. This is a must 5 stars for willa!

Willa...Will She Release Her New Album?,
By *Stripped* (Spain) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Toast to Men (F**k the Men) (Audio CD)
That's the question that everyone who follows her are thinking. The album is more acoustic as she said and electronic. It contains a lot of songs with a great meaning(like writing about one who's gay or a girl that has to make love with person who she doesn't love,to can live,or about someone obsessive with sex,or about one of her relationships)I only heard a live clip of the tittle track of the album and it was electronic and very catchy. Her first album "Willa Was Here" was a good solid pop album which sold 500.000 copies. Her First Single of her "new" album (it isn't has an official release yet ¬¬)it's called "A Toast To Men" is a funny track, with a great tune and it's catchy. It talks about the man bashing and all that stuff.Even tough its a good single it didn't do that well, and Willa Admited that it wasn't to be the first single of the album and that she will release another one before release "SexySexObsessive"(album).I Think its time to release it

EXCELLENT SINGLE & MAKES YOU ANTICIPATED FOR NEW ALBUM!!!!!,
By Jessica Simpson (N.J., USA) - See all my reviews

Willa Ford burst onto the worldwide scene in.....JAPAN!!!!She did a song with a popular Japan/Korean singer-WAS A HUGE SMASH!!!!! Willa was then offered a record deal. But, they decided to have her stage name be Mandah. They wanted to mold her into a horrible singer and wanted her to act dumb, clueless, and NOT songwrite (which is a big talent of hers). She was also forced not to produce. SHE QUITE from the record company in search of more happiness. The only thing that was released with this record company was the song "Lullaby": featured on the Pokemon` soundtrack. Atlantic/Lava records offered Willa a record deal & she signed. She was able to songwrite how ever much she wanted and she became a producer. Her album "Willa Was Here" came out July 17th, 2001 and quickly went gold and sold 500,000 copies. The first single off of the album, which came of out in April/May 2001 "I Wanna Be Bad" quickly became a #1 SMASH!!!!! In November/December 2001 Willa's "Did Ya Understand That" single came out. Many say it kinda flopped, ONLY because it wasn't as successful as "I Wanna Be Bad" "Did Ya Understand That" did become a huge dance smash & the video was a hit. In November of 2003, "A Toast To Men"-BUT IT WAS NEVER OFFICIALLY RELEASED-was released. It topped the dance charts, got excellent reviews, and became a big gossip topic like "I Wanna Be Bad" It also introduced new rapper-May. Now, Willa's new album "SexySexObsessive" is done & it is going to be released sometime this year-hopefully before July/ August. In an interview-Willa said NOW in April/May she will officially put out her new single. It seems like the excellent 2001 Summer may come back & that the new single is gonna be a #1 chart topper like "I Wanna Be Bad" Also, I love Willa Ford so much that I make my My-Scene Jammin In Jamaica doll "Delancey" be her. *BUY WILLAS NEW ALBUM, THIS GIRL IS TALENTED AND AFTER GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES, DESERVES EXCELLENT #1 SALES!!!!! PLEASE HELP US, HER, & GET THE WORD THAT SHE IS TALENTED OUT & MAKE GOD HAPPY & BE HAPPY ABOUT AN EXCELLENT CREATION HE CREATED & ALL OF US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
