5.0 out of 5 stars Summary on My Life as a Toasted Time Traveler, by Bill Myers, October 30, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: My Life as a Toasted Time Traveler (The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle #10) (Paperback)
My Life as a Toasted Time Traveler is a funny book. Make that, very funny. No, it's halarious! Wally McDoogle, age 13, is met by a future version of him who comes to correct him of a mistake that he made, a mistake that could change his life. When he tries it though, more Wallys from an even more future tell him that he shouldn't. The real Wally is confused, so they take him through time to show him that one little change can make a BIG difference in his life. You'll love this book. Well, at least I did!

I love all the books in this series. They are funny and easy to read and each book is a story in itself. I am collecting them all and have read about 10 or so. This is a great book for grades 4-6.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Life As A Toasted Time Traveler, May 11, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: My Life as a Toasted Time Traveler (The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle #10) (Paperback)
My Life As A Toasted Time Traveler by Bill Myers takes place on a baseball field. The main charecters in this fun-filled book is Wally McDoogle. McDoogle is sweet and adventurous. There is also Andrew and their coach. Coach is demanding and mean, but Andrew is sweet and loyal. The problem is Wally doesn't want to play in the position his coach wants him to play.

In the beginning of this story Wally is put on the baseball field in a position he doesn't want to play. Next, he gets his time traveler and flies back into the past and changes his coach's mind and puts his friend in the center field position instead. To find out what McDoogle does, you'll have to read this book.

The theme of this book is always trust in God and you will see your way through. This book reminded me of one of my friends going his own way and not God's way. Boys and girls ages 9-10 would like this book. Also boys who play baseball and love God, would also love this book.

This review is from: My Life as a Toasted Time Traveler (The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle #10) (Paperback)
I've been a long time fan of Bill Myers ever since I was about 7. I got this when I was about 10 and I was laughing my butt off! It would make a nice gift for younger kids...or even teenagers. I mean, I'm 14 and still enjoy reading books of this series!
