These pads work exactly as described - they are just the right temperature, stay hot for hours. The only thing to consider is that for tight-fitting shoes, the extra bulk of one of these pads might make them uncomfortably tight. Mine work fine in my hiking shoes, but are just a bit tight in sneakers.

These are good products, but may get too hot for some applications. The adhesive backing is a great idea. They should make a smaller size too though.

I love toasti-toes!! I hate the cold. I can only tolerate it if my extremeties are cozy. I love this product! I put the adhesive side down towards the inside of my shoes / boots and go. I convinced the manager of my local food store to purchase this by the case and give it to all the employees. Now when I go in I get a rousing thumbs up from everyone. If you hate feeling cold - use this product - no need to shake them to work - they make the cold weather tolerable. Amen!!!

These kept my feet warm in a sleeping bag and on a moderately cold day, but for summitting Mt. Kilimanjaro, my toes were blocks of ice anyway. So, these are probably nice for most skiers and mountaineering, but it won't do much in near zero temperatures.

My son is on the school Alpine Ski Team. He skis 5 days a week in northern Minnesota where it gets COLD! HE had some "toe warmers" and his locker mate had "Toastie Toes" and at the end of practice my sons feet were cold. He felt the "Toastie Toes" that his friend had used at practice and they were very warm. He insisted that I go to K-mart to get some. I really don't care for that store - but I went and he has used all six pairs, so I had to go back for more. I have felt these things after he gets hoome from skiing and they are truly warm. The other brand doesn't work nearly as well. Ironically, he has found all brands of hand warmers to work fine. So if you have cold toes, this is the thing to get - the adhesive also works better than the others! I don't leave a lot of reviews, I would have thought all toe warmers were the same. Not so - that's why I wrote this.
