The 300-watt motor of this Toastmaster stand mixer will handle anything from fluffy meringues to heavier mixtures such as cookie dough and bread. There are no preset speed numbers on the dial, so you can move it in tiny increments to get just the right speed, and the turbo button really powers it up for heavy-duty beating. A quick-release button lets you lift the head up to remove a bowl without having to also remove the beaters; don't worry about the head flipping back down on its own--it snaps into place until you press the button again. For more complete mixing, rotate the bowl on the turntable base. An automatic cord reel inside the base keeps the cord tucked away for storage. The mixer comes with 2- and 4-quart glass bowls, beaters, dough hooks, and a whisk.
