Accompanied by two sets of beaters and a set of dough hooks, this 10-speed hand mixer handles any mixing chore and then stores in a countertop caddy. The caddy also stores the beaters (an all-purpose set and a wire set for whisking) and dough hooks (for heavy batters and pastry). And the caddy also has slots for the spatula that attach to the mixer to catch splatters and prevent dry ingredients from clinging to a bowl's sides. The 200-watt mixer has a power-burst button so it doesn't stall in heavy mixtures. A soft, rubberized inset in the handle and rubberized buttons make the mixer comfortable to use. During use, the mixer stands on its butt-end to keep the countertop clean. It carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

I love gadgets ... and this blender met my requirements of (1) a good buy for the price, (2) lots of attachments, and (3) a speed control button that is up/down ... not twisting (which is more a natural control for when you are blending stuff in a bowl). Only fault is that even at slow speeds (on a "1" on the control), the beaters turn quite fast! There are so many speeds on this blender (from 1 - 5 ... low speed and high speed, plus burst of speed) ... for a total of about 12 different speeds! Amazing for the cost!

I've had this mixer for about two months now and really like it. It is powerful, relatively quiet, and comes with regular beaters, whisking beaters and dough hooks, as well as a splatter guard and a caddy that stores everything. So far it's been able to handle everything I've used it for, with 10 speeds plus a speed burst mode. My only complaint, a small one, is that it takes a bit of force to dislodge the beaters; still, I don't hesitate to recommend this appliance and give it 5 stars.
