Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Wavy waffles keep breakfast interesting and make concocting desserts fun. This waffle maker produces one round 7-inch wavy waffle that slips easily off the nonstick cooking grid. Dual indicator lights signal when to add batter and when cooking is done, turning out perfect waffles every time. Roll and fill the waffles with sweetened ricotta cheese for cannolis, or layer with ice cream and slice for a frozen dessert. When cornmeal batter is used, tostadas can be made and topped with refried beans, cheese, and salsa. Recipes for tostadas, gingerbread waffles, Swedish cookies, dessert roll ups, and more are included in the user guide. The waffle maker measures 11 by 8 by 3-3/4 inches, and stores upright to save space. Toastmaster covers the waffle maker with a one-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun gadget!, January 1, 2004

I bought this because it was on sale for $5.99 and I figured how can you go wrong? It turns out to be a pretty cool gadget We've never had a waffle maker before, and my wife would occassionally make pancakes but maybe once every 2 or 3 months. She's made waffles 4 times in the past couple of weeks since we got this. It's not like your normal waffle makers; it makes thinner waffles than you'd expect. But it works well, the waffles are tasty, and they don't stick. I'm looking forward to trying other mixes and trying something with ice cream, or getting some chocolate waffle mix to try! One of the best gadgets I've bought from Amazon!!!

The waffle-maker is worth the price since it can be used also for making very nice large cookie waffers for ice cream and other desserts. My first use was a modified chocolate cookie recipe minus the fat so it needed non-stick spray for each one. The teflon coating is not as slippery as it is on some appliances, so count on using spray oil even though it indicates it is an option. An on/off switch would be nice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not really a waffle maker..., August 10, 2004

If you are looking for a waffle maker, don't buy this...this is more of a pancake maker. It turns out soft wavy pancakes. I like pancakes , so we use this machine a lot.

It is easy to use and clean. I use it atleast once a week. For its price, I am very happy with the machine.
