Product Description

Amazon.com Review

For a healthful, low-fat snack, this appliance pops popcorn by circulating hot air and needs no oil. With 1,200 watts of power, it will pop 3-4 quarts in minutes. Operation is simple: remove the clear plastic chute, pour up to 1/2 cup of popcorn (any type except microwave) into the popping chamber, replace the chute, and plug in the popper. Hot popcorn will soon flow out of the chute into a bowl positioned beneath it. Cleanup is just as simple: wash the chute in hot soapy water and wipe the base and popping chamber with a cloth. The popper is clad in hard plastic, is 6 inches in diameter and 12 inches high, and carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Full of Hot Air, May 24, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Toastmaster 6201 Popcorn Popper (Kitchen)
When my old air popcorn popper died, my husband surprised me with the Toastmaster Air Popper. What a disappointment! It seems that the air pressure is not strong enough to push the popcorn over into your bowl, which leaves you with burnt popcorn and unpopped corn in the chamber.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment!, September 3, 2001

On top of the previous negative reviews I want to add that many of the kernels fly out of the popper unpopped. They are extremely hot and bounce of the bottom of the bowl right into my face at a great speed. Don't try it with the children around. Pop corn tastes dry and has no flavor. It's also not very stable and tips over easily. (Makes good air heater though).

1.0 out of 5 stars Just doesn't pop!, August 28, 2001
This review is from: Toastmaster 6201 Popcorn Popper (Kitchen)
This product was such a disappointment. It didn't have enought power to blow a feather out of the machine. Most to all of the kernals burned and the popcorn that did pop tasted terrible. I would not reccomend this product to anyone!
