Great for countertop cooking and picnics, this big griddle provides a cooking surface 21 inches wide and 10-1/2 inches deep for frying eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, burgers, and steaks. It cleans easily, too, because the griddle is nonstick and, with the heating probe removed, can be immersed in water. Designed like a restaurant's griddle, it has a backstop at the rear so, say, burgers can be scooped up without sliding off and browned bits can be scraped aside. A grease channel surrounds the griddle to prevent buildup, and grease drains into a slide-out cup beneath the griddle for disposal. The heat control adjusts from 150 to 400 degrees F for precise cooking. For safety, the plastic rim surrounding the griddle stays cool during operation. The griddle carries a one-year warranty against defects.
