In addition to being handsome, this toaster has the largest, deepest slots I have seen. Slices from my bread machine fit in it. The auto-shut off feature elininates my concern about the heavy slices not rising, since the unit shuts off even when jammed. It toasts great and the slide out crumb tray makes cleaning a snap. I love it!

We have this toaster in the kitchen at work, and recently, I've taken to bringing in a box of pop-tarts to munch on. I was amazed (and a bit amused) to find that this toaster actually has a pop-tarts setting, and so instead of eating my pop-tarts raw, I tried it. Twice. The first time, the corner of my pop-tart got wedged in-between the heating element and the side when the toaster popped up. I managed to rescue 98% of my pop-tart, but I was unable to unwedge the corner. The second time, at least 5% of my pop-tart was wedged in places it shouldn't be, and the unit started smoking! I immediately pulled the plug and vowed to never use it again. The problem with this unit is the metal guides (both side and bottom) are spaced too far apart and no matter how careful you are when you place your precious pop tart, it shifts into a bad position. I imagine it might be a fine toaster for large items such as bagels, but, despite the brand name (complete with Kellog pop-tart font) setting just for pop tarts - this toaster is not made correctly for such a pastry.

I purchased this toaster to use at the office for toasting my breakfast bagel. My biggest gripe is that it takes about 4-5 minutes to toast a bagel to golden brown. Also, when the heating stops, the bagel doesn't always pop up automatically.

The bagel feature works by pressing a button after you have started the heating process. This turns off the outside elements, so you can get the inside of the bagel brown without burning the outside. I tend to use this near the end of the cycle, otherwise the outside of the bagel won't be crisp.

The style of 2035W is attractive and the price is fair, but I wish it worked faster.

I was going for low price, so it is my own fault. This toaster toasts unevenly, won't toast well after the first two pieces once it gets hot, and the toast doesn't stay down when the lever is pushed. I am very unhappy with my purchase.

After about 2 years of unevenly burned toast this thing died. For the last year the only way to get the toast up was by unplugging the toaster. Since the eject and the "doneness" share the same dial, you can't set the toaster to the perfect doneness and leave it at that setting...you have to continually fiddle with it. I would rate this as 1 star, however, I believe that my passionate hatred of this toaster may be clouding my judgement, so therefore I give it 2 stars.

This toaster is a winner. The price is good and the performance is even better. I am quite pleased with the product. The coupons that came with it are actually good and usable coupons. Good price and good looking!

This is an absolutely horrible toaster. Toasting anything takes multiple cycles, even at the darkest setting. Many pieces of bread have gotten stuck inside. The Pop-Tart setting is useless. After several weeks of use, the "cancel" button (which is supposed to let you pop the toast up manually) stopped working all together.

Do yourself a favor and don't go cheap buying a toaster. This one is just a complete waste of time and money. To paraphrase the Comic Book Guy:

Worst. Toaster. Ever.

I bought this toaster because the bagel setting, It has never worked! It won't even stay down. Every time I've tried popping it down there is a big spark at the bottom of the toaster. Worst product I've ever seen! Very Unsafe!
