My toastmaster grill has got to be over 15 yrs. old and is the same as the day i got it. I was able to feed all 7 of us many mornings and nights and never had a bad moment. A friend now has seen mine and wants one too, he says WOW! The pull out tray catches all the fat that drains off of meats, which is a ++. Thanks for still being available. An excellant wedding gift.

I had one of these and it always worked so reliably. heated fast too. unfortunatley one leg came into contact with another appliance and melted so then it would not sit level. (my mistake!!) finally i decided because i use this item so much, to get a new one since it was a hassle to prop its melted leg to get it to sit level. the store did not have this brand, so i got a black and decker and am i ever sorry. the black and decker takes forever to heat up. i mean a really long time. i will be returning that and getting another toastmaster. it would be nice if the legs were not made of plastic, but can't beat the performance of the grill. great surface on it as well. never chipped or flaked.

LOVE this griddle. I have 4 boys and cooking pancakes and grilled cheese (staples around here) was always a long tedious process, not anymore! I can easily cook 6-8 grilled cheese sandwiches at ONE TIME :)

The pictured product is NOT a TG21W. It is a TMEG21W and is not equipped with the food warming tray that the TG21W has. Denny and Kathy's Ace shipped me the TMEG21W as a substitute for the TG21W and I had to return it because I did not receive what I ordered! The TG21W is flush white across the front and does not have the black grease tray sticking out of the front center of the pictured product. The TG21W has a white electric thermostat that fits flush to the front unlike the pictured TMEG21W which is black and is attached to the right side at the rear. TMEG21W is definitely inferior to the TG21W due to the plastic grease channel!

I've been using this grill for quite a while now. It's lightweight, easy to use, and does everything I've asked of it. If it has faults, I'd say the heating surface isn't quite as evenly heated as I would like it to be and the temperature control isn't all that well calibrated. I had to try various heat settings and mark the control dial with where 200 degrees was (though of course it wasn't 200 degrees everywhere on the surface).

You have to approach an inexpensive grill without unreasonable expectations, so relative to the price, this is a good hardworking item.

I ordered this griddle through Amazon (Acehardware Outlet) and was sent something completely different. I have had a misserable time trying to return the inferior product to Acehardware Outlet. I am still trying to purchase a real Toastmaster 21" griddle.

A different griddle than ordered was susbstiiuted without checking.

I had a special reason for odering the Toastmaster '21'. A Farberware griddle of smaller surface was sent under the guise of a Toastmster.

Not good business!!!!

THE GRIDDLE WAS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR WHAT WE NEEDED IT FOR. IT REPLACED ONE THAT WAS 10 YEARS OLD THAT FELL OUT OF A CLOSET AND THE PLASTIC BROKE. LOVE THE SIZE.
