For the price one would think they were getting a dingy set, but quite the contrary. I've bought more expensive toaster ovens before, but none compare to this little number. It heats up quickly, heats EVENLY, and is great for heating up your favorite snack, or outright cooking. This has pretty much replaced my oven, as I use this for just about everything. A must buy, and for the price it's definately a steal.

I always seem to have a whole lot of trouble when it comes to finding the right toaster ovens and broilers. Unfortunately, that has been a big problem. Especially, when it comes to brand names like Black & Decker and Proctor Silex. Still, I had to go out and find the right kinf of toaster oven. So, I looked all over to find something affordable, without the hastle of a expensive take from a wallet. Thankfully, my search is over courtesy of Toastmaster, and a whole lot of comparison shopping knowledge. I have found a great toaster oven appliance that is worth its weight in toast.

Toastmaster's TOV200 4-slice Toaster/Broiler is a very simple and affordable way to make toast, and broil all different kinds of foods. This appliance is a very simple and easy to operate tool for all kinds of homes. There is no broken buttons and all it actually takes is the turn of the dial. The toaster is very convient and simple. Arguably, it has so many simple features, like a dial for cooking and broiling, as well as a timer which also has a stay on feature, that is very useful for anybody who is more used to oven-style cooking, if you need to conjure up something that takes more than 30 minutes as well. The setup is very easy to take care of, and it includes a crumb tray for cleanup, and a oven rack that can be set in 2 different positions.

While you could wind up considering spending around double or possibly even triple the amount for a simple kind of toaster oven/broiler like this, you definitely will get more for your money with Toastmaster's TOV200 Toaster Oven/Broiler. My family did, and that doesn't burn to a crisp either.

I agree with most reviews that the toast function sucks. Although I haven't noticed one side being hotter than the other, a portion of my timer knob chipped and now I have to use a screwdriver to set the time. I've also has a very difficult time toasting nuts! They always get burnt.

Our toastmaster oven caught fire over the weekend. We were lucky that the toaster oven was the only casualty. Of course there was also the mess to clean up after the use of the fire extinguisher. It could have been disastrous. I think we only had the toaster oven for barely 6 months. I will not be buying this model again.

If you are particular about the quality of your toasts, this may not be the right toaster for you. The looks and maintenance of this is decent, but slices of bread are not evenly toasted on both sides. The bottom side tends to get darker than the top side.

toast will either burn or one must stand by watching to get it done properly & toasting takes long time - toasting 2 slices of bread could take 10 min. Had a toastmaster years ago & loved it so thats why I bought this thinking it would be as good as what I had before. Plan to get a pop up toaster even though I just got this in Dec. 2005. Have not had a good slice of toast since I got this contraption.

Received this toaster as a Christmas present in 2004. From day one I was not very happy with it. The knobs and temperature control are difficult to use - sometimes it would bake good, other times it would not. About 6 months ago I noticed the numbers were rubbed off of the timer dial. About 3 months ago the timer dial became loose and it was difficult to set the time. Today the timer dial broke off completely. So I got about a year and a half of poor use out of it. So, don't purchase this product, it is not worth it.

Very easy, and simple to operate. Doesn't have all the fancy buttons and timers, just a simple turn knob, and timer for the toast,
....that you can set to the TIME that you want the item to toast! No problem with having to hit the button twice.
I don't know what the problem is with the rest of the morons above that are lighting their toast on fire, and can't seem to put the toast in the right part of the toaster to get it done evenly, but I am very pleased with this product.
It may have cost only $25, but it far exceeds the one that we just returned for $85 for a black and decker toaster oven.
Overall...very simple and inexpensive.
...and it toasts bread too.

i've had this item for almost 3 months.after having used toaster ovens for years, this one is a disappointment!i loved the roomy interior for baking [8x8 pan] but the toaster setting is stupid.no way to set it for muffins or bread.it's different each time. when setting timer half the numbers rubbbed right off and last night,turning the timer the dial came off! thank god, i was a girlscout and fixed it. the exterior really overheats. i feel this is too dangerous to have and am buying another one.

This was a great item and I enjoyed using it for "meals for one." Unfortunately, the timer dial broke in less than a month which renders the whole thing useless.
Tip: save the box it came in. You may need to ship it back.
