Yes, Einstein had a day job at the time he was thinking up relativity and the other Nobel-worthy discoveries of the 'miraculous year' 1905.

He worked, as a lowly clerk, in the Swiss government patent office. And one of the patents he processed was the original one for Toblerone candy bars.

Good enough for Einstein; good enough for you and me, right?

I did spend some precious time talking to him in Princeton, but I have to confess I didn't bring up candy bars. In fact, I didn't know this item from his biography at the time. But now you do, so you can bring it up with your acquaintances, as you hand out the Toblerone. Remember; only the original flavor, not the black or the white chocolate versions, received the Einstein seal of approval. And mine, for what that's worth!

Awesome milk choclate. Watch out for grocery deals on amazon to get them for much lesser. Totally love it.

I found a great deal for a lot of Toblerone which can be a good and bad thing.
Good: They taste fantastic.
Bad: They taste fantastic. If you're not careful it can be hard to stop eating. The unique box wrapping makes it hard to really gauge how much you have left.
Essentially, chocolate as a comfort food equals significant weight gain and health impairment.
Otherwise, Toblerone is fantastic. Bon Appetit.
