Product Description

The professional look of the MobileVision TOBLINO 2 leather iPad 2 case is perfect for traveling to the office, school, or the corner coffee shop. Uniquely designed for convenient use any time, any place, the TOBLINO 2 cover not only offers premium protection - but it also doubles as a stand! Without ever taking the iPad 2 out of the case, the TOBLINO 2 allows you to prop up the screen at two different angles, for use on tabletops and desks for hands-free viewing. The TOBLINO 2 exterior is made of leather with a soft finish to provide ultimate protection for your iPad 2, with elegant styling and access to all buttons, ports, speaker and rear facing camera. The case also takes advantage of the iPad 2's sleep/wake function, waking it up when you open the case and putting it to sleep when you close it. Inside, the gray plush microfiber interior keeps the screen free from scratches. Additional padding protects against sharp impacts and punctures, without giving up the slim look of the iPad 2. With a case like this, you can go where you like and do what you like - and look good doing it.

Just received my case. It is very slender, which I like. Too many iPad cases are bulky, and that ruins one of the coolest aspects of an iPad, which is its slim form factor. The standard Apple iPad cover is certainly thin, but it doesn't protect the back, and just doesn't seem to provide much protection for the iPad overall. It is little more than a way to prevent scratches on the screen when not in use. The Toblino case is both thin and protective of the entire iPad.

The case is nice and snug too. It fits the iPad absolutely perfectly, with no wiggle room at all. Other reviews mention that the case is somewhat hard to open when closed, because the fit is so tight. I was a little worried about that when I bought it. But after getting it myself, it's really not a big deal at all. Yes, it is a little tight, but it is not a strain or anything to open it. I like that when the case is closed, the iPad feels very secure in the case and should not get damaged by jostling around in my briefcase or whatever.

The leather is nice and the stitching appears to be first-class. I don't know how it will hold up, since I just got my case. But, first impressions are good. I bought a red case, because my iPad is white and I like the bold look. But the red is not bright and garish. It's a tasteful red, and it is nice leather, which gives it a business-like feel, if that's something you value.

Wow, really surprised at how slim yet sturdy this case is. My 2-year old daughter plays with our Ipad and while this is in "stand" mode, she can push and play with the Ipad without knocking it over. The leather is also very nice. Great purchase!

I am SO glad I chose this case for the iPad 2! It is really just perfect. The leather is gorgeous, it fits like a glove and is very reasonably priced.

The case is very sleek. It holds the iPad very securely and unlike most other cases it leaves the bezel exposed. It offers decent protection, even around the corners and just works flawlessly.

Let me touch on a couple of things other reviewers complained about.
The lack of a third slot for holding the iPad in a flatter position. This is a non issue for me. Basically you can just fold it down to the position you like and the stiffness of the leather pretty much keeps it there. I am typing this on the iPad right now and there is virtually no springiness or anything else that would be bothersome. It works great.

The other thing I read as a negative was that the bottom two corners don't overlap the iPad and fit kind of loose. Well, this is how it is designed. These corners can't overlap or you couldn't pull out the iPad to fold it up. They work perfectly! They hold it snug, but allow the bottom to easily be pulled out to fold it up. The other four tabs overlap and hold the iPad very securely. Your iPad will not slip out of this case, even in a drop.

The last thing was that the closing clasp is a little stiff and hard to open. Yes, it takes a little effort to get it open, but that is exactly how I would want it. It won't pop open on you. I love that it closes so securely. Also, I am sure it will loosen up a touch as the leather wears in. Again, I think it fits just perfect.

So, a sleek case that exposes the bezel, is real leather, protects your iPad, has the smart on/off features and only costs $30. You can't go wrong with this one!!!

I must say I did a lot of research before I bought this iPad case. I have an iPad2 and I wanted to make sure it had a sold case, that looked professional, and would be versatile. THIS CASE IS AWESOME - this might be a little bit picky but the only problem I have with it is I sometimes have streak lines on my screen from the case. Its not a big deal and can easily be wiped off but something that should be noted. The case will hold the ipad in three different positions. The leather feels like real leather, and looks very high quality.

Great case for anyone looking to protect their ipad 2 and have a great looking case at a fair price.

I had the first Toblino for my first ipad and fell in love with it!! The leather quality was great and the design was very smart and sleek!

However, when I got my ipad2 and needed to get a new case, I thought the new toblino would be just as good but decided on the red instead. The leather quality was definitely a let down. It was a much cheaper material and seemed flimsier than its first model. Design is still sleek and functional. But I was really disappointed in the quality, especially having to pay $10 more than my first Toblino. Toblino-- what happened to you guys??!! I was a huge fan and had recommended you guys to all my friends :(

I'm glad I read all the reviews and selected this one. What everyone said about it being slim, good looking, and tough (for something so small) were true. It was tricky to open without feeling like I would break a nail, at first, because it closes so securely. But learned you can bend it back at the corners to pop it open easily WITHOUT the top cover corners deforming over time and not closing all the way - most cases of this type have that problem. It has most stable system for propping the iPad of all the covers I've tried. Many others have seen this and asked what type I have. I've never felt it wasn't holding or closing securely. It has already helped my iPad survive one fall and many bumps. I love that I found this, and was very glad that I found all those features with the bonus that it is a 'smart' cover that makes the iPad 'sleep' when I close it (I wasn't sure about that until I got it, the description and some reviews weren't clear about this.)

Extra Bonus - I selected a used one from Amazon Warehouse Deals, so I got it $5 cheaper. I assumed it was a returned one, but came in the orig. packaging, and there were absolutely no defects. I'd recommend it. It was pristine.

My only problem is remembering the name - so many people ask me which one bought and where I got it upon seeing it.

Edit - a year later, people are still stopping to ask me where I got it.

Edit, again - more than a year later, I still have no problems with the corners uplifting/not laying flat, even though I've been using them to pop it open for awhile now. I'm sorry to see it's not available here anymore. There's a Brookstone brand one, with a rubberized, not leather, unfortunately, cover I've seen at Staples and on here that's the closest thing to this I've ever spied.
