Do not buy this drum, October 24, 2011

This Toca Cuica drum
Toca T2548 Hand Drum Lasted for about ten strokes and the stick fell out! Cuica drum sticks are supposed to use a solid piece of bamboo carved with a knob on the end so they don't pull through the drum head (being a vibrational stick drum). It would appear that this drum manufacture uses a straight stick that is glued into the knob at the drum head. No matter how good the glue may be, this drum is destined to fail.
